Warrior Exchange

Surplus Property, Equipment, and Supplies Online

Please click here to access Warrior Exchange.

The Warrior Exchange allows WSU departments to post unwanted furniture, supplies, equipment & electronics from campus to a dedicated university website. These items can be claimed by another university college, school, division or department. The Warrior Exchange enhances campus efficiency by facilitating the re-distribution of equipment/property/supplies that are no longer used or needed within a department.

This process is intended to streamline operations by simplifying the re-distribution of those items posted. The efficiencies realized by facilitating campus reuse will ultimately save costs for WSU and its departments. Across the campus there are desks, chairs, tables, file cabinets, book cases, electronics, printer cartridges, office supplies, and many other items that go unused and are considered surplus property. These items can be posted and viewed on Warrior Exchange. There is no cost to post or request items on the Warrior Exchange website and moving items is also at no cost unless disassembly or reassembly is required.

In an effort to enhance the program's effectiveness, only Business Affairs Officers (BAO) and pre-designated individuals are able to post and/or claim property, equipment, and supplies on Warrior Exchange. All other individuals within the School/College/Division are able to view items but will need to contact one of the designated users with the School/College/Division to have an item posted or claimed. Please contact your BAO for a list of designated users.

Arrangements for moving are the responsibility of the receiving Department and can be made by emailing ar1086@wayne.edu. This moving process is only for items claimed on Warrior Exchange.

NOTE: The moving process noted above is only for items claimed on Warrior Exchange.

The campus department claiming large equipment, property, or furniture off Warrior Exchange should email begreen@wayne.edu (indicate in the subject line: “Warrior Exchange”) to initiate the process of having claimed item(s) delivered to their location. Smaller equipment, property or supplies posted on Warrior Exchange can be picked up by the entity claiming the item(s). Please contact the Property Office before posting property or equipment with a WSU tag.
